ALARM

DESCRIPTION

CAUSE / SOLUTION

20: Fans Motor alarm

 - The motor overload protection (QM) has intervened.

- An overload of current has been absorbed by the ventilation/exhaust motor.

- Electrical failure.

- Check if the motor is running with the correct rotation direction

- Check if the motor protection device (QM) is turned OFF.

- Check the connection between the motor protection device (QM) and the motor

- Filter or motor could be dirty, missing a phase or faulty

29: Exhaust contactor failure

- The exhaust motor contactor (KM) is not working.

- Exhaust extraction is either always On or Off.

- Electrical failure.

- Check the connection between the exhaust contactor (KM) and the exhaust motor.

- Set temperature at 60°C and check if the contactor (KM) is working when the dryer has reached the pre-set temperature.

- If contactor is not working, replace the (KM) contactor.

30: Heating Contactor failure

- The heating contactor (KR) is not working.

- Heating is either always On or Off.

- Electrical failure.

- Check the connection between heating contactor (KR) and heating elements.

- Replace the (KR) contactor.

31: Main fan contactor failure

- The ventilation motor contactor (KL) is not working.

- Ventilation is either always On or Off.

- Electrical failure.

- Check the connection between fan contactor (KL) and fan motor.

- Replace the (KL) contactor.

35: Belt Alarm

- Belt speed sensor error.

- Encoder is not reading the speed value.

- Belt is not moving or belt is moving but speed is not shown on the PLC.

- If belt is moving, check the speed sensor connection and verify that is working (orange Led blinking).

- If sensor connection is Ok but the Led is not blinking, replace the faulty sensor.

- If belt is not moving, check belt motor wirings and verify the power supply.

- Replace the motor.

- If the motor is moving when powered externally, the PCB that communicate with the PLC is not working. Further checks are needed.

41: Temperature probe PT100 error

- Error appear inside a grey area below the main PLC window.

- Green Temperature value is fixed at 285°C

- Check the connection of the temperature probe on the PLC.

- Replace the temperature probe.

43: Temperature RIGHT probe PT100 error

44: Temperature LEFT probe PT100 error
